Manchester-based duo HEAD BALLET formed while living together during lockdown. In that time, they developed an impressively unique, eclectic sound that combined experimentalism with influence from the likes of Grimes and Nine Inch Nails. Their new track, ‘Real Life’, is an indie-pop cut that provides mesmerising electronic textures and beats with a focus on bringing out some magical melodies. Danny Casio states that the track’s aim was “to capture the end of an era, the transitional period between two distinct and antithetical stages of being.
